This model is a rendering of a publicly available 3DS file. The file
was imported using the 3DS import filter distributed with the NuGraf
software; all geometry, materials, lights and camera
definitions were properly converted. The scene was then slightly modified
for better use of NuGraf textures, reflections and shadows. Several 3d
procedural textures were applied to the skeleton and motorcycle, including
bump maps to the skull, body and seat, and color procedural textures to
the skeleton's chest and the ground plane. The chrome effect was simulated using
a spherical environment map image of mountains and a lake. Two shadow
casting lights illuminate the scene and an automatic planar reflection
map has been assigned to the ground plane to produce the reflection. The
background uses a linear gradient color scheme.
